The sinking of the MV Toboshi, also known as the Toboshi massacre, occurred on 20 September 1949 when the Creeperian submarine BIC DA 36 struck the Ajaki cargo ship MV Toboshi with a torpedo. The Toboshi was carrying over 10,000 Creeperian refugees, most of whom were ex-combatants of the National Council for Peace and Order and civilians from the city of Adolfosburg, when it was struck by the torpedo. The sinking killed all those onboard, as nearby naval vessels of the Catholic Imperial Restoration Council did not assist the survivors and even fired upon some survivors.
