The 1904 Liga Nacional was the inaugural season of the Liga Nacional (now known as the Liga Imperial). The Liga Nacional was the top level of Creeperian professional football and it was organized by the National Football Association (ANF). A total of five clubs participated in the league: CF Adolfosburg, CF La'Libertad, CF Salvador, CF Nuevo Xichútepa, and CF San Salvador, of which all but La'Libertad participated in the short-lived Liga de Fútbol in 1901 and 1902.
San Salvador won the league's title after gaining fourteen points from seven wins and one loss. San Salvador was followed by Adolfosburg at ten points, Xichútepa at seven points, Salvador at six points, and La'Libertad at three points. Both San Salvador and runners-up Adolfosburg were selected to compete in a postseason match, the Copa Creeperiano, marking the beginning of Creeperopolis' most well-known club tournament.
The following season, the league was expanded to eight clubs. The league was held every year until 1933 when the Creeperian Civil War canceled the league for nineteen years. The rebranded Liga Primera was held in 1952 to 1953, and the following season, the league was rebranded to the Liga Imperial.
