The National Football Association Premier League (Creeperian Spanish – Creeperian: Ասոծիածիօն Նածիոնալ դե Ֆղտբոլ Լիգա Պրեմիեր, ԱՆՖ ԼՊ; Creeperian Spanish – Iberic: Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Liga Premier, ANF LP), often known as simply the ANF Premier League (Creeperian Spanish – Creeperian: ԱՆՖ Լիգա Պրեմիեր; Creeperian Spanish – Iberic: ANF Liga Premier), is the top division of professional football in Creeperopolis and is organized by the National Football Association.
The National Football Association was formed in 1904 as the Conference of Professional Football before renaming itself the League of Professional Football in 1924, only having one division. During the Creeperian Civil War, the league suspended operations. After the war ended, the league resumed operations and renamed itself to the National Professional Football Association, which was later renamed to the National Football Association in 1953. In 1960, the ANF Division I was founded, de facto establishing the ANF Premier League as well.
The league consists of 16 teams which play each other twice per year. The two worst teams per year are automatically relegated to the ANF Division I, while the third and fourth worst teams play a relegation match, the loser of which is relegated to the ANF Division I. The eight teams with the best records continue to play in a tournament which concludes in a championship match, the tournament being known as the Copa Creeperiano. The Copa Creeperiano is also among the biggest club sporting events in the world, with the individual games accounting for many of the most watched television programs in Creeperian history with over 250 to 300 million viewers nationally every year. ANF Premier League games are broadcast within Creeperopolis, El Salvador, and the State of the Church. The Copa Creeperiano itself is also broadcast in Greater Sacramento and Quebecshire.
