Vladimir Kruschev (b. 30 November 1996, as וולאדימיר קרוסטשעוו) is a former Morovan citizen and steelworker who was arrested by the government of Creeperopolis on 2 September 2019.

Biography

Vladimir Kruschev was born on 30 November 1996, in the capital city of Morova, Kieva. When he was 18 years old, he began working as a steelworker in Kieva.

On 2 September 2019, Kruschev traveled to San Salvador's Saint Romero I Adolfo Martínez Galdámez International Airport via Ankarabad, Greater Sacramento, on Ar Heshubic Airways, for still unknown reasons. While he was being interrogated for holding a Morovan passport, he was arrested since he was in possession of a Morovan propaganda pamphlet entitled "A Defense of Atheism." The pamphlet was written by Alyosha Karamazov, an influential figure in Morova.[1] After the arrest, he was escorted out of the airport and placed into a police van. He was taken to the San Salvador City Jail where he was temporarily incarcerated. The arrest is justifiable by Title II, Chapter I, Section I, Article II of the Creeperian Constitution: "... All blasphemy is illegal. ..."[2] Possession of the pamplet had been made illegal in Creeperopolis. Kruschev was interrogated about himself, the pamphlet, how he acquired it, and further on what he was planning to do in Creeperopolis.

Immediately following the arrest, the Sacramento Aviation Protection Agency for Passengers stated that they warned Kruschev of the limited rights in the Creeperopolis, as they did to all passengers flying to San Salvador. The Agency said that they were be willing to take the passenger back to Ankarabad from Creeperopolis.[3] The Creeperian Ministry of Defense thanked the Sacramento Aviation Protection Agency for Passengers for the offer but declined so that discussions could be held with Morova.[4]

After hearing of the incident, Fyodor Ivanovich requested that Kruschev be returned to Morova so that "he may be executed for treason."[5] The Creeperian press mocked Ivanovich and said he was mortified and was fearful at the thought that his nation be regarded as a harbinger of atheism.[citation needed] A representative of The Morovan military offered to travel to Creeperopolis to identify Kruschev.[6] The Minister of Defense of Creeperopolis wrote a message to Ivanovich:

Creeperopolis rarely extradites criminals to their countries or origin with the exception of Quebecshire, but we will allow a Morovan military official to come identify the detained man. The Emperor will decide wether we will extradite him or not if your representative will be willing to discuss this situation with him. If he does not wish to discuss, he will not be extradited.

Diplomatic and military officials from Morova receive less strict interrogations and searches, but remember to be advised on Title II, Chapter I, Section I, Article II of the Creeperian Constitution. Violation is not tolerated.

Hope to hear a response soon.

Later that day, a single, unarmed military cargo plane has took off from Kieva International Airport headed for Creeperopolis.[7] At 8:30 PM SST, the plane touched down at Saint Romero I Adolfo Martínez Galdámez International Airport. The plane slowed to a stop and the doors opened. Ivanovich emerged with two guards on each side of him.[8] A Creeperian Army Squadron stationed there informed Fyodor Ivanovich that the Emperor, Alexander II, refused to speak to him but the Minister of Defense, Augusto Cabañeras Gutiérrez, would be willing to negotiate tomorrow. He was also informed that he and his men would be escorted to the Two San Salvador Hotel, the second best in San Salvador, to spend the night until negotiations can begin the following day.[9] A request to see Kruschev by Ivanovich was denied.[10][11]

Kruschev was transported from the prison to Ivanovich's hotel room for the meeting. Ivanovich was informed that only one Morovan soldier was allowed to be in the room with Ivanovich, the prisoner, and three Creeperian soldiers.[12][13]

Ivanovich: “You fool. You’ve given your life for a cause that was doomed to fail. You realize you will die. You have to. You prefer it. You want to be a martyr. Well, you won’t be a martyr. But you will die. [Inaudible whisper]. No matter; you can ignore me. We will find out who you are nonetheless. What, you think that will defeat me? A little kiss? I have spent years consolidating power. I rule every aspect of our nation. You have no chance against me.”

Kruschev: “It wasn’t a kiss that will beat you. It’s love.”

Ivanovich: “Love is nothing more than your brains motivation to get you to reproduce. No, love lost before it got its fists up. I have won. I have determined that this man should be executed for treason, sodomy, libel, sedition, and sacrilege. It is not worth identifying him. Do with him what you will.”

Ivanovich returned to Morova following the meeting.[14] Afterwards,

Kruschev was charged with Blasphemy[lower-alpha 1], De-Catholization Denial[lower-alpha 2], Espionage[lower-alpha 3], Homosexuality[lower-alpha 4], Practicing Atheism[lower-alpha 5], Practicing Communism[lower-alpha 6], Waging war on God[lower-alpha 7], and Waging war on the Empire[lower-alpha 8].[citation needed] Instead of being put to death, he was sentenced to life imprisonment and was sent to Tuxtla Martínez-Panachor Maximum Correctional Facility, the worst prison in Creeperopolis.[15][citation needed] His register number is TMP20190732.

Kruschev is currently serving 8 consecutive life sentences at the Tuxtla Martínez-Panachor Maximum Correctional Facility.[citation needed]
