Gregorio Hernán Cárdenas y Hernández (1963-June 19, 2003), also known as the "Strangler of Tuxtla Martínez" (Estrangulador de Tuxtla Martínez) or "Goya," was a Creeperian assassin and serial killer. He was a murderer for hire for Mara Salvatrucha from the years of 1978 to 1993. During his killing spree, he murdered 39 people, 3 of whom were government officials and 14 of whom were military officials. He was arrested on June 17, 1993, and sentenced to 555,555 years imprisonment at Tuxtla Martínez-Panachor Maximum Correctional Facility. He committed suicide on June 19, 2003, one day after the 2003 Creeperian coup d'état in fear of being tortured by the new government.
