Outline |
In Creeperopolis, the nobility are a group of individuals who compose a formal Creeperian aristocracy. Creeperian nobles have certain privileges, such as exemption from taxation, and are considered as having a higher social status. In modern Creeperopolis, almost all nobles possess only ceremonial titles, with very few governing actual territory, however, all titles are hereditary in nature but may only be passed through male-only lines.
Many titles of nobility were abolished during the Second Parliamentary Era (1887–1933); some titles were reestablished while others were not. In Creeperopolis, there are only four types of nobles, of which only the two most senior titles are still in existence: dukes, marquesses, counts, and viscounts. Additionally, the title of archduke exists, however, there are only thirty archduchies, the thirty departments of Creeperopolis, and every title is held by solely the Emperor of Creeperopolis.
