Early life

Santiago José Azaña Yagüe was born on 11 September 1959 in San Romero, San Romero, Creeperopolis. His father was José Ramón Azaña Castillo and his mother was María Barbara Yagüe Hidalgo, both of whom worked for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Creeperopolis. Both of his parents wanted him to become a government worker for the ministry, but they wanted him to avoid military service like his father had been forced to do from 1946 to 1950 during the Creeperian Civil War, fighting in the Siege of San Salvador and the Battle of the Zapatista River on the side of the Catholic Imperial Restoration Council as a soldier.
