The Martyrs of Alqarya (Creeperian – Creeperian: Մըրտիրես դե Ալքարյա; Creeperian – Iberic: Mártires de Alqarya) are a group of around 200 Creeperian Catholics, both laymen and clergy, who were martyred on 4 April 1231 in the city of Alqarya by the Caliphate of Deltino. The martyrs were all either hanged, beheaded, crucified, or burned alive for being Creeperian Catholics following the independence of the Kingdom of Creeperopolis.
The martyrs caused a backlash of Creeperian Catholic support for the newly established Kingdom of Creeperopolis and its King, Alfonso I, during the Creeperian Crusade.
The martyrs are referenced briefly in the third chorus of the Creeperian Royal Anthem.
