AIM is located in Salvador on the Bay of Salvador. SSM has four runways and 3 terminals.
In 2019, AIM handled 33,594,251 passengers, making it one of the world's busiest and Creeperopolis' third busiest.
AIM serves as a secondary hub for Creeperian Airlines, Creeperopolis's largest airline, along with its cargo counterpart: Creeperian Airlines Cargo. AIM is the largest airport in Adolfosburg.
The airport is named after King Alfonso I Salvador Martínez Moreno, the first King of modern Creeperopolis who began the Creeperian Crusade.
