José Eduardo Villacorta y Sandoval (born 7 May 1981), better known by the ring name El Primo, is a Creeperian convicted murderer, health advocate, and former professional wrestler. He is most well known for an incident in February 2008 where he was involved in an arranged pay-per-view fight against El Castigador, whom he killed him as a result of the significant weight disparity between the two. He was charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter, vandalism, bet rigging, and gambling fraud, and was sentenced to 2 life sentences plus 234 years at the Tuxtla Martínez–Panachor Maximum Correctional Facility (TMP).

Early life

José Eduardo Villacorta y Sandoval was born on 7 May 1981 in La'Victoria, San Luís, Creeperopolis. His father was José Emmanuel Villacorta y Hidalgo and his mother was Clara María Sandoval y Méndez de Villacorta. He was the eldest of three children, with his younger siblings being Isabela and Martín.

At a young age, Villacorta Sandoval took an interest in boxing, but later decided to become a wrester instead. He began his wrestling career in 1999 at the age of 18 together with his cousin, Félix Leonardo Sandoval y Fuentes, more commonly known by his ring name of El Mencho. As Sandoval Fuentes' cousin, Villacorta Sandoval adopted the ring name of "El Primo" (literally "The Cousin"). He and Sandoval Fuentes wrestled together until March 2005 when Sandoval Fuentes was murdered by a member of the Creeperian Mafia in a gambling related dispute.

Murder of El Castigador

On 2 February 2008, Villacorta Sandoval engaged Domingo Sergio Sánchez y Alvarado, better known by his stage name of El Castigador (literally "The Punisher") in a pay-per-view match. Prior to the match, some medical staff for both wrestlers advised to not proceed with the fight as Villacorta Sandoval weight significantly more than Sánchez Alvarado. Villacorta Sandoval weighed 382 pounds (173 kilograms), while Sánchez Alvarado weighed only 185 pounds (84 kilograms). The concern of the weight difference between the two wrestlers was ignored by the arrangers of the match, and it proceeded and scheduled.

Only one minute into the match, Villacorta Sandoval picked up Sánchez Alvarado and slammed him into the floor, landing on top of him with his full body weight. The force of Villacorta Sandoval crushing Sánchez Alvarado severely injured Sánchez Alvarado, who was unable to stand up following the move. After 10 seconds, the match referee called for a pause in the match and signaled for medics to tend to Sánchez Alvarado. He was taken out of the ring and taken to a hospital, and the match was canceled. Sánchez Alvarado was later pronounced dead from his injuries, with the official cause of death being massive internal bleeding as a result of the large force being induced on his body.

Villacorta Sandoval was arrested by the Creeperian Imperial Police (PIC) the following day and was charged with murder and involuntary manslaughter for his involvement in the death of Sánchez Alvarado. He was later also charged with vandalism after the venue claimed that his move slamming Sánchez Alvarado had damaged the floor of the ring, forcing them to replace it entirely. Additionally, he was also charged with bet rigging and gambling fraud after his trainer, Martín Álvaro Yagüe y Herrera, agreed to testify again Villacorta Sandoval alleging that he intended to purposely throw the match after betting on Sánchez Alvarado to win.

On 20 February 2008, Villacorta Sandoval was found guilty on all charges and was sentenced to 2 life sentences plus 234 years. He is currently incarcerated at the Tuxtla Martínez–Panachor Maximum Correctional Facility (TMP) in Tuxtla MartínezPanachor, Zapatista, Creeperopolis.
