The Gold Star Line (Creeperian: Línea Estrella Oro and abbreviated as LEO) is a Creeperian shipping company and cruise line based in Salvador, Salvador, Creeperopolis. It was founded in 1844 by Pío Bosque Meléndez and became the largest shipping company in Creeperopolis by 1900. During the Second Parliamentary Era, the company lost revenue due to new restrictions, regulations, and taxes placed on the company, eventually declaring bankruptcy in 1938. The company was seized by the Catholic Imperial Restoration Council and continued service under government control. It was reprivatized in 1960 and continues to operate. The company has operated around one hundred vessels in the past, most of which being passenger ships, but it only operates three passenger ships today which operate on only three routes. The company instead has transferred its focus to cargo and is the largest cargo company in Creeperopolis.
