The bombing was a part of Frente NEPOC's terrorist campaign against the Creeperian government during the [[San Carlos Islands Crisis]], however, the flight was "accidentally" bombed, as the intended target was TACA Flight 711 from Cámarillo to [[San Romero, San Romero|San Romero]].
