The Day of Colón earthquake (Creeperian: Terremoto del Día de Colón), otherwise known as the 1598 San Carlos Islands earthquake, was an estimated 7.0 magnitude earthquake which affected the San Carlos Islands, Creeperopolis, on 12 October 1598. A total of 4,118 people were killed in the earthquake and many buildings in the city were destroyed.
