The Adolfosburgish Degeneracy myth is a conspiracy theory that was rampant throughout the right-wing of Creeperian politics that originated during the Twenty Years' War in the early 1500s that mostly ceased in the mid-1960s. The myth asserted that individuals from the department of Adolfosburg, and especially the city of Adolfosburg, were degenerates as they tended to align with left-wing politics.

History

Twenty Years' War

The myth of Adolfosburgish Degeneracy began in 1503 during the Twenty Years' War. The city of Adolfosburg was the origin of the Protestant Reformation in 1502 and within a year, militant Protestants under Martín López Pulos, known as the Protestant League, had captured the city and the entire department. The infamous Defenestration of Adolfosburg saw the Catholic mayor of the city, Horacio Mena Guerrero, and other city officials thrown out of a four story window of the Adolfosburg Regional Palace as a form of execution. Most of the inhabitants of the department converted to Protestantism with those who remained Catholics fleeing or being massacred.

The city was brought under Catholic control on 15 May 1523 after a siege and a massacre of the city's Protestant inhabitants, known as The Great Massacre, took place until 25 May.
