The Hondurans (New Honduran: Hondurerrak; Creeperian Spanish: Hondureños) were an early Surian people who resided mainly in north-central Sur in the modern-day Creeperian department of San Miguel. The group was ethnically similar to the Creeperans and ruled the Kingdom of Honduras from 1288 until its annexation by Creeperopolis in 1360. In 1535, Creeperian King Miguel V ordered the genocide of the Hondurans, and the ensuing Honduran Genocide killed between approximately 1.2 to 1.6 million people in a two year span. Today, many inhabitants of the department of San Miguel are descendants of the Hondurans genetically.
