City of Erika (Hazbin: Град Ерика) is the capital city of Hazbin and the most populous in the nation. The metropolitan area of the city has a population of roughly 14 million inhabitants and is home to many government buildings, business locations, and trading areas.
The City of Erika also includes the building which hosts the Imperial Council when they are in session. The Palace of Shadows which is the Emperor's residence is in the city, the Prime Minister and President of the Upper House also hold residency within the city. At the beginning of its history it was a few villages around and a private residence of the imperial family, after passing and many families began to build their homes on the property of the imperial family, the emperor decided to start donating some portions of land and with that the population in the place it grew even more, to celebrate the 820th anniversary of Hazbin, on September 14, 1296 Emperor Richard founded the city and on April 5, 1300 he moved the capital to the new city. Since then the Hazbin capital has been the city of HazR'lyeh, it has been the scene of many small and important conflicts. There are few remnants of medieval architecture, apart from what is preserved around the Great Temple and the Statue of the Foundress, there is a predominant more modern architecture and beautiful landscapes throughout the city.
