Kits
The traditional color of the national team has been black since the team's inception in 1972. Black was chosen as the national team's primary color at the request of President Samuel MacMorrow who thought the team's color might "inspire fear". This retention of black as the team's home kit color has led to the team's nickname as the "Boys in Black".
The team's away kit has traditionally been primarily white for most of the national team's existence, however other colors such as blue, yellow and pink have all also been used for the away kit. The yellow and pink kits were both used in only one match, with the pink kit being used in 2019 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pink Revolution. The yellow kit conversely was retired after one match in 1985 due to national outrage at the kit, with the Gjorka Times describing the kit as "a kit only a mother could love". The light blue was used in Gjorka's away kits from 1994 to 1997.
The team's kits have been supplied by Stíl Spóirt since 2011.
Home stadium
The home stadium of the national team has been MacMorrow National Stadium in Gjorka City since 1984 when it opened. However the national has played select games in stadiums across Gjorka, with the most popular of such stadiums being Heritage Stadium in Nomakoa of which the national team has played 21 games in. The teams has also played games in Jelltech Stadium in Gjorka City, L&P Bank Stadium in Baltimore, and Armtech Trucking Stadium in Éire among others.
Before the opening of MacMorrow National Stadium in 1984, the national team played most of their matches in the 51,000 seat People's Stadium (renamed from Éamon de Valera Stadium in 1972) from 1972 to 1984.
Media coverage
Rights to broadcast Gjorkan national team games are owned by CCS until 2032 after the company renewed its contract with the Gjorkan Football Association in 2022. It purchased the rights to broadcast national team games in 2010, as it had been previously owned by CRG.
Rivalries
Ajakanistan
Gjorka has a strong rivalry with Ajakanistan. This rivalry stems mostly from the two nations hostile relationship. Matches between the two nations have occasionally resulted in violence, most famously in the 1991 OFL Continental Cup when Gjorkan fans and Ajaki fans clashed following the later's 3–0 loss. The two nations most recently met in the 2019 OFL Continental Cup where they drew 1–1. Due to the two nations aforementioned hostile relations, friendlies are not scheduled.
