History
Establishment 1905 - 1928
Established in 1905, the football team was originally viewed as a vanity project of wealthy businessman Rikardo Sterling. The team's first uniforms were promotions of his company's pharmaceuticals, some of which were handed out as free samples at home games. With an increasing feelings of Rakeoian independence in the 1910s, the team was rebranded as 'the national football team' despite not having governmental approval. This landed them in legal troubles that were drawn out for the next three years- But by 1913, the team was acquitted, and the stunt had gained them island-wide attention.
By 1918, Sterling was facing intense scrutiny after allegations of peddling illicit substances. His reputation in shambles and facing possible legal action, he surrendered the football team as governmental property. Ownership of the team was given as a privilege for whomever became first prime minister of the Second Republic of Rakeo, under the understanding that it would be head of the Committee for the Future of Rakeo, Chale Ains.

Departure
The football team left the Terraconserva cup in 1956, and would not return for nearly two decades. By 1960, the Rakeoian Football Federation had been entirely disbanded in accordance with the nation's new focus on isolation.
