The Democratic Party of New Illyricum (Illyrian Iberic: Democraçaeo Parteto de Novo Elyreco), often referred to as the DP, is a big tent New Illyrian political party led by incumbent Grand Marshall of the Union Luçeo Mareo which currently holds 89 of 195 seats in the Congress of New Illyricum following the 2024 election. The party was founded on January 3, 2024, following the signing of the Pretoria Peace Accords which ended the Aberso–Illyrian War and instituted the 23rd Amendment to the New Illyrian Constitution which legalized opposition parties to the ruling Vanguardist Party.
