The Sixteen Years War was fought between the Kingdom of Illyricum and the Kingdom of Ferunia and Trurnia from 1197 to 1213 AD. Ferunian and Trurnian rulers Marcellus II of Ferunia and Luconius II of Trurnia led their forces to repeated victories, and eventually captured Secundia in 1209 before defeating Dardanus I of Illyricum at the Battle of Tertius Hortus.
