History

Following the outbreak of the Creeperian Civil War, the Catholic Imperial Restoration Council ordered the construction of a troop transport aircraft from the Maroto Aircraft Company to be based on the Maroto MA-1 prototype. The Maroto MA-2 first flew in 1929 and entered service with the Creeperian National Airways. In total, 196 MA-2s were built.

Following the civil war in 1949, the MA-2 was retired by the Creeperian Air Force. The remaining aircraft were transferred to Creeperian Airlines, the country's flag carrier. The MA-2 was retired by the airline in 1955.
