The Maroto Botín FA-19 (Creeperian: Մարոտո Բոտձն ՖԱ-19) is a Creeperian twin-engine, supersonic, all-weather, multirole fighter jet manufactured by the Maroto Botín Aerospace Corporation. The aircraft was designed as both a fighter and attack aircraft and was derived from the Maroto Botín FA-15. Neither Maroto Botín nor the Creeperian government have yet confirmed wether or not the aircraft will be carrier-capable. As of March 2024, two prototypes have been built.

Development

On 15 September 2022, the Creeperian government officially announced that the Maroto Botín Aerospace Corporation was developing a new multirole fighter jet derived from the design of the Maroto Botín FA-15. The aircraft was first publicly displayed at the Miguel Martín Cabañeras y Gutiérrez International Airport on 15 September 2023 and it first flew on 18 June 2023 in San Salvador as a part of that year's 18 June Liberation Parade.

The Maroto Botín FA-19 prototype was publicly displayed at the Terraconserva InterArms Exhibition in Fort Handel, New Gandor on 27 September 2023.

In March 2024, a second FA-19 prototype was built.

Operational history

The Maroto Botín FA-19 is expected to enter service with the Creeperian Air Force in 2025.

Potential operators

Creeperopolis

The Creeperian Air Force is expected to be the primary operator of the FA-19. It has placed an order of 250 FA-19s. The Creeperian Navy has also ordered 100 FA-19s, with military analysts suspecting that some of the aircraft could be purposed for carrier operations.

Pavulturilor

The Pavulturilori Air Force has ordered 12 FA-19s.
