Quintus Nonus (c. 600 - July, 652) was a Romanyan born general and politician who served as the magister militum of the Kingdom of Illyricum from 636 to his death in 652 under king Cornelius I. Nonus served in the Romanyan Army prior to his joining the Appian Rebellion as a mercenary in 636. Nonus later led Illyrian troops in the Illyrian reconstitution, defeating Trevenii chieftain Monoacer at the Battle of Fero in 637 and conquering the Andaluzian Mountains. Nonus was killed while fighting near Italus in 652, which led to the eventual overthrow of king Cornelius I and the installment of king Publius I in 653.
