Alexander II (October 11, 1563 - March 19, 1618) was an Illyrian leader who ruled as King of Illyricum from 1607 to his death in 1618. Alexander was the eldest son of King Severus I and Queen Julia II and was the second monarch of the Claudian-Adrian dynasty. During his reign Alexander defeated the Kingdom of Ferunia and Trurnia in the Second War of Ferunian and Trurnian Succession and established his own daughter Maria VII as Queen of Ferunia. In 1618 following an injury after falling from his horse, Alexander issued the Succession Act of 1618 naming his son Octavus and his daughter Maria VII as his co-successors.
