Marcellus II (May 29, 1628 - December 8, 1660) was the King of Illyricum from 1630 to 1660. Marcellus became king when he was just two years old following death of his father Octavus I of Illyricum. For the first fifteen years of his reign, his regents Marius Cornelius and later Pericles Hebedradus effectively ruled the kingdom. During his reign the Kingdom of Illyricum declined greatly and became overshadowed by the neighboring Kingdom of Ferunia and Trurnia led by Maria VII and II and Marius III and IV. In 1660 while on campaign against Ferunia and Trurnia in the Gaelici War, Marcellus was shot and killed at the Battle of Napelia, he was succeeded by his son Phillipus III
