The England conflict was a short-lived military conflict between the Kingdom of Kernow and the American Union on April 25, 2023. The bulk of military action took place in southern England, though a flint and steel was deployed against HolyEpicPenguin in New York. The conflict was resolved when HolyEpicPenguin agreed to abandon his claim in England, followed by kaiserjaeger_ abandoning his claim in New York.
Prelude
Early tensions
On April 19, at 4:37 PM EDT, HolyEpicPenguin confronted kaiserjaeger_ chopping down trees near the borders of Philadelphia, asking him "Why are you deforesting [A]merica[?]" to which he responded "Not my home not my problem B)." Shortly after, HolyEpicPenguin killed kaiserjaeger_, searching through his inventory and remarking "lol cute sword" before putting his stuff in a chest. A sign was erected over the chest proclaiming, "a dirty [E]uropean was slain here on 4/19/2023."
After the confrontation, the two parties treated each other with disdain. On April 24, MrMcgee117 threatened to sue kaiserjaeger_ for libel because he "called [MrMcgee117] cringe", to which kaiserjaeger_ responded, "I mean[,] Americans are cringe."
English outpost
On April 25, HolyEpicPenguin joined the server at 9:28 PM EDT, and kaiserjaeger_ greeted him by saying "ew [A]merican." HolyEpicPenguin responded, "[P]roof that [I]'m [A]merican?", to which PizzaKing13 remarked, "**American** Union." Following this, HolyEpicPenguin established an outpost in England near Kernow and replied "[E]xplain my outpost in [E]ngland then?" At 9:32 PM EDT, HolyEpicPenguin remarked that he had been declared an outlaw in Kernow by kaiserjaeger_ and jested, "so what happens if i go to [K]ernow anyways[?]" Using discord, .F44D0 of the Holy Gamer Reich responded, "you disobey universal law [...] now you must die."
Battle
Sometime between 9:34 PM and 9:36 PM EDT, kaiserjaeger_ attacked HolyEpicPenguin while he was chopping down trees in England near his outpost, with both parties using netherite weapons and armor in the engagement. HolyEpicPenguin told kaiserjaeger_, "[T]hat was mean of you to assault me." Throughout the fight, kaiserjaeger_ repeatedly deployed a lava bucket against HolyEpicPenguin, but this was eventually neutralized by HolyEpicPenguin's water. After the two continued to fight, with HolyEpicPenguin being driven back to his outpost and then driving kaiserjaeger_ back to the borders of Kernow with both combatants sustaining injuries. Eventually, HolyEpicPenguin left Kernow and began harvesting naturally growing crops and plants surrounding Kernow, causing kaiserjaeger_ to state "bruh stop griefing."
After this, HolyEpicPenguin engaged a group of pillagers in England, and then left for Philadelphia to trigger a raid in order to gain exclusive trade deals from his villagers. The raid was concluded by 9:53 PM EDT. After this, HolyEpicPenguin noticed that kaiserjaeger_ had travelled to New York to create an outpost. After kaiserjaeger_ attempted to use a flint and steel against HolyEpicPenguin, the two eventually agreed to make peace in exchange for abandoning their respective outposts that had been formed near each others' borders.
Aftermath
After the conflict, kaiserjaeger_ remarked that it was time to return focus to the "principal issue" of the Central American Empire's outpost in Gibraltar. At around 10:15 PM EDT, kaiserjaeger_ travelled to San Salvador, initiating a military standoff that would lead to the Gibraltar War.
