The 2023 Iron Ingot protests were a series of protests against the United Nations (UN). Protestors opposed the removal of the iron ingot trade from the UN headquarters, which was replaced with raw iron.
Protests
At 9:45 p.m. EDT on 17 April 2023, Kanjuura_ traveled to the headquarters of the United Nations (UN) to sell his iron ingots for money. Upon arriving, however, he discovered that the headquarters changed its iron ingot trade to a raw iron trade, rendering his iron ingots effectively useless for trading. Upon hearing the news, PizzaKing13 arrived at the UN headquarters and began placing signs in protest of the trade's removal, with chants of "IRON INGOT TRADE NOW" and "ABOLISH THE UN", among others.
Kanjuura_ joined PizzaKing13 in placing signs outside of the UN headquarters. Both cut down trees to acquire more signs to place outside of the UN in protest, and some trees were burned down in the process. Additionally, Kanjuura_ built a netherrack sign reading "INGOT" and lit it on fire, and attempted to convince paleocacher to join in the protests.
On 18 April 2023, PizzaKing13 directly confronted NintendoWii_ regarding the iron trade, demanding the return of the iron ingot trade. NintendoWii_ refused meet his demands, and so PizzaKing13 instead demanded direct compensation for his 135 iron ingots, demanding to trade in his iron ingots for 135 raw iron. NintendoWii_ responded by stating "no" and "problem creeper?", to which PizzaKing13 stated, "there was no notice about the trade change and i had the iron before the change regardless". After that, NintendoWii_ relented and agreed to give PizzaKing13 compensation at 3:27 p.m. EDT, ending his involvement in the protests.
After being compensated, PizzaKing13 told NintendoWii_ that Kanjuura_ was making similar demands to be compensated, to which NintendoWii_ responded "cope". Kanjuura_ stated that he planned to destroy the UN headquarters with TNT but eventually decided against the plan.

United Nations
United Nations: NintendoWii_ initially refused to give compensation to the protestors, but eventually relented and gave PizzaKing13 135 raw iron for his 135 iron ingots.
Protestors
Central American Empire: Emperor PizzaKing13 of the Central American Empire is directly involved in the protests. Regarding the protests, he stated "we need to send a message". After being compensated, PizzaKing13 stated that "my mostly peaceful protest worked".
Holy Gamer Reich: Kaiser Kanjuura_ of the Holy Gamer Reich is directly involved in the protests.
Neutral parties
American Union: President HolyEpicPenguin of the American Union expressed his support for the protestors' right to freedom of speech, adding that he "love[s] protesting". He joked about tearing down the signs and netherrack sign, but clarified his position by stating "it shall be spared".
Banate of Leitha: Ban LeotropolisG of the Banate of Leitha expressed at his speech that he supported the cause of the protestors and disliked the actions of the UN. He also mentioned, that more items should be placed in the shop to be sold, to expand the market, like most importantly, sand.
