The Battle of Brasilia was a skirmish between the American Union, Republic of Unified South America (RUSA), and the Celtic Union.

Prelude

On May 8th, HolyEpicPenguin argued that the South African Colonies of the American Union were not colonies as they were "a core part of the country". In response, user kaiserjaeger_ stated, “…I’ll go get some integral territory in South America.” After making this threat, kaiserjaeger_ teleported to Brasilia.

Battle

At around 9:10 PM EST, the Battle of Brasilia started. The battle began with kaiserjaeger_ attacking BrownSuperset51, but upon noticing HolyEpicPenguin began his withdrawal. Being pursued by BrownSuperset51 and HolyEpicPenguin, kaiserjaeger_ retreated back to Kernow.

Aftermath

After the battle, in the early hours of 9 May an official declaration of war was made by the American Union and the RUSA, beginning the Celtic–American War.
