Marçelo Fojro (born June 29, 1955), born Makkelho Forro, is a New Illyrian former football forward who played from 1974 to 1993 with Dynamo Turis, BP Turis, and Gjorka City Athletic C.L. Fojro led BP Turis to an international title in the first inaugural TUFA League of Victors in 1980-81, when BP Turis upset CF San Salvador 1-0 and Fojro won the Golden Ball for his performance. Fojro won five titles in the New Illyrian Premier Football League (PCPNI) and three Oraes Balons prior to sustaining a litany of injuries throughout the late 1980s which forced him to leave BP Turis in 1990. Forjo then moved overseas to Gjorka where he played with Gjorka City Athletic in the Gold League and would win the 1993 Gold League title before retiring that offseason. Fojro would coach until 2018 following his retirement in 1993, appearing in five PCPNI finals with Inter Etruricum and Armorolaus Iuvenes, winning the 2002 PCPNI title.

Early Life

Marçelo Fojro was born as Makkelho Forro in Alo Rio, The Eisley, on June 29, 1955, to parents Marku and Andrea Forru, both farmers. Fearing the violence of the Vanocan War as supporters of Luceo Saraneo, the family fled The Eisley shortly after his birth and immigrated to Fero, Secundicum SS, in central New Illyricum. Makkelho's parents decided shortly after arriving in Fero to Iberianize his name into Marçelo Fojro, which is what he would be known as for the rest of his life.

Fojro showed early talent in football, mostly through his height, physical strength, and overall athleticism, which allowed him to become a top national football recruit by the age of 16. Fojro opted to attend Trurnia University prior to joining the PCPNI, despite being urged heavily by many professional players and coaches. He would appear in 40 matches across two seasons with Trurnia University in the New Illyrian Collegiate Football League and score a total of 39 goals, leading Trurnia University to a victory in the 1973 collegiate finals with a hat trick in the 5-1 victory.
