There is a number of political parties in Gjorka Gjorka as the country is a multi-party democracy. Historically, Gjorka United has been the most consistent and largest political party, but three other political parties have held the presidency along with a number of parties holding a majority or plurality in the National Assembly. Since the collapse of the Socialist Party in 1997, the main two political parties in Gjorka have been Forward Gjorka and Gjorka United.

Following the 2021 National Assembly election, no party holds a majority of seats as Gjorka United's plurality of 183 is less than the 222 required for majority. The Green Party and Forward Gjorka currently control the National Assembly with the Pink-Green Coalition. Gjorka United and the Freedom Party are currently in the National Coalition which orginally formed with the National Social Party, but the party left following the 2022 Gjorka City summit. The Gjorkan Pirate Party serves as the sixth largest party in the National Assembly and is not aligned with either major coalition.

The Workers Liberation Front is a communist political party in Gjorka. During the First Gjorkan Republic and the Gjorkan Resistance it was Gjorka premier underground communist party. However following the Black Revolution and the formation of the Socialist Party, the party became a minor political force only occasionally gaining seats in the National Assembly. Following the collapse of the Socialist Party, it gained several of it's former members but in the 2016 election they lost all remaining seats.
