The Political Parties in Dontalamh differ from their major mainland counterparts. Dontalamh is the only district to not feature representatives from either Gjorka United or Forward Gjorka. However, both parties have affiliates in the islands with the Dontalamh People's Party being an affiliate of Gjorka United and Union being an affiliate of Forward Gjorka.
Dontalamh operates under a first past the post system with candidates being elected to server districts.
