The 2028 Sequoyan presidential election will be held in Sequoyah on 27 February 2028. Voters will elect the country's president and vice president for a six year term. If necessary, a second round will be held on 12 March 2028. The election will occurred concurrently with Senate, People's Assembly, and gubernatorial elections.
Political parties will be able hold primary elections for their presidential candidates in mid-2027 and will have to register their candidates by late-2027. As of 05 2024, no one has announced their intention to run for president in 2027 with any political party, however, Sequoyan journalists and political commentators have proposed various candidates who could run for president. Incumbent President Atohi Dustu of the National Reconstruction Party is eligible to run for re-election, and many political experts believe that he will announce his re-election campaign sometime before 2026.
