Legislative elections were held in Sequoyah on 27 February 2022 where Sequoyans elected all 40 members of the Senate. As no party or coalition obtained a majority in the Senate, Mantotohpa Otoahhastis of the National Reconstruction Party, the elected vice president of Sequoyah, served as the tiebreaker, giving an effective majority to the right-wing coalition.
