Wohehiv Avonaco (Cheyall: ᏬᎮᎯᎥ ᎬᎣᎾᎪ; born 12 December 1975) is a Sequoyan politician and lawyer who currently serves as the leader of the Republican Party. He previously served as the governor of Cheyenne from 2018 to 2022, the mayor of Suhtai from 2012 to 2016, and as a member of the People's Assembly from Cheyenne's 1st constituency from 2004 to 2012. He was the Republican Party candidate for president during the 2022 presidential election; he came in second place, losing to Major General Atohi Dustu, the incumbent provisional president. Wohehiv Avonaco was currently the Republican Party's candidate for Cheyenne's 1st constituency for the 2024 People's Assembly election, which he won by 16 points.
