The Second Republic of Illyricum (Illyrian Iberic: Duoseno Repoleça de Elyreco), officially known as the Republic of Illyricum and Claufen from 1833 to 1848, was a historic period of New Illyricum from 1819 to 1848. The government was led by President for life Romulonysyos Anyastynaxos and was, while officially seated in Illyricus, effectively ruled from Salonya in the Mareçyan Isles, leading to the nation also being known as the Anyastynaxian Republic or the Salonya Republic.
In 1819 Romulonysyos Anyastynaxos led a coup d'état, overthrowing President Marius Connus and the First Republic of Illyricum as installing himself as President for life and leader of the Second Republic of Illyricum.
