Wong Seon-lai (Luhainese: 黃信來; born 4 December 1969) is a Monsilvan politician who has served as the leader of the Green Party of Monsilva since 2024. Wong previously served as deputy leader of the party from 2017 to 2024 under Yuen Lim. As a member of the Green Party, she has served as a member of the Legislative Assembly for Menchi Central since 2023, having previously served as MP for Shanqian from 2004 to 2023.
Wong was born in Menchi in the Kingdom of Monsilva in December 1969. Her parents were originally from Tsingyi in Luhai, however they moved to Menchi just before Wong was born but still chose to give her a traditionally Luhainese name. She spent her childhood in Menchi and graduated from the University of Menchi. Although Wong joined the Green Party in 1989, her political career started in 2000, when she became the party's candidate for the constituency of Shanqian at the 2000 federal election. She was not succesful in her election, but did manage to come second in the constituency. She ran again at the 2004 federal election and was successful in her election. Wong remained the MP for Shanqian throughout the rest of its existence until it was abolished in 2023 and replaced by the multi-member constituency of Menchi Central, which she was successfully elected to at the 2023 federal election.
In December 2024, Yuen Lim resigned as leader of the Green Party and deputy prime minister. This led to Wong automatically taking over leadership while an election for the next leader takes place. Prime Minister Lin Yao-tang also chose to appoint her has deputy prime minister. The election saw Wong being elected officially as leader of the Green Party on 21 December 2024.
