The economy of New Illyricum is a specialized economy based mostly off of strong mining and manufacturing sectors. After a period of economic downturn in the early 2010s, the New Illyrian economy has seen large growth since 2018, peaking in 2022 and staying steady to 2024. The New Illyrian economy is the 24th largest economy in Terraconserva and is the world leading exporter in titanium and gypsum.

Mining and mineral extraction is the largest industrial sector in the New Illyrian economy, accounting for 47% of the economy. Eastern and north New Illyricum, in the Andaluzian Mountains, are very rich in copper, nickel, iron, zinc, titanium, and gypsum. All mining is state-run so each state determines its own practices and mining strategies, with AleMine being the largest state-run mining corporation as it administrates mining in SE Alephonicum as well doing major operations in SE Pensulia, SE Tuscinum, SE Uralis, SE Etruricum, SE Turisicum, and SE Secundicum.
New Illyricum is a world leader in titanium and gypsum exports, which account for 54% of profit from all exports, as well as a major exporter of zinc and nickel.
