The Illyrian lynx (Lynx illyrius) is one of the four extant species of the cat genus Lynx. The Illyrian lynx is endemic to the western Andaluzian Mountains in New Illyricum in southern Ecros. The species experienced large population declines in the second half of the 20th century, however recent efforts by the New Illyrian Ecological Commission have allowed the species to begin to return to safe and sustainable populations.
