On July 27, 2024, a Beleçe b1-3 carrying New Illyrian politician Ernesto Luçeo, the marshall of congress and the chairman of the Vanguardist Party, crashed near Laconis in SE Italia Oest, New Illyricum. The plane was en route from Italus National Airport in Italus, SE Italia Est, to Secundia International Airport in Secundia, SE Secundicum. The cause of the crash was initially unknown, however later footage revealed that the plane was struck twice before spinning out of control. Of the eleven passengers and crew, six were killed, with Luçeo escaped severely injured.
