Status

Itse Amequohi is an unrecognized state consisting of several settlements near the Mid-Southern part of Sequoyah. Populated by several tribal groups, Itse Amequohi is a Christian sect dedicated to the protection of the natural world, which they consider God's natural temples. They are adamantly opposed to the Sequoyan Transcontinental Railroad. The state actively seeks to convert and accept all people to their way of thinking. Although they demand protection of endangered peoples, they are also willing to use violence to defend their lands.

Military

Itse Amequohi's military is known as the New Samaritan Warband. The Warband consists of 20,000 men, although every Itse Amequohian is trained in combat and expected to serve in local militias if called upon. The warband is directly controlled by the Chief of Itse Amequohi. The Warband is renowned for its marksmen and frequently raid Sequoyan camps to steal firearms to arm their tribes and their peoples.

Politics

Itse Amequohi is run largely by the Chief and the Chief Spirit Guide. The Chief oversees economic, military, and state matters, while the Chief Spirit Guide deals largely with the well being of the state's citizens and ensures the equal distrubution of wealth and goods. The Chief is appointed by a popular vote every 2 years, while the Chief Spirit Guide is appointed by local Spirit Guides when the previous Chief Spirit Guide has passed away.

Economy

The Economy is based on the economic style that Peter and his followers followed in the Book of Acts. All land is owned in common by the tribe, with goods being distrubuted by the Chief Spirit Guide and his ministry. The Samaritans engage in small-scale agriculture and fishing, as well as trading stolen weapons and metals to the Cheyall and Navaja in exchange for horses, bison meat, and furs.
