Raids of South Eastern Ecros was multiple front war. Took place between 668-673 AD. After the fall of Romanya, more smaller nations rose up, which led Norse explorers, traders and warriors, the latter known in modern scholarship as Vikings, to sail most of Southern Ecros.
As a result of declining profitability of old trade routes drove the Reykanies to seek out new, more profitable ones. Trade between Southern Ecros and the rest of Ecros may have suffered after the Romanyan Empire lost its Eastern provinces in the 6th century, and the expansion of Islam in the 7th century may have reduced trade opportunities within Eastern Ecros. Reykanes attacked to establish better trade routes.
