The For Reykanes is Our Pride (Reykani:Fyrir Reykjanes er stolt okkar) is the national anthem of Reykanes. It is over one minute. Written in 1914 first used by the Grand Duchy of Reykanes, throughout the petrovist days, still used by Reykanes to this day.

History

In the early 20th century unity in Reykanes grew strong. The difference between a Catholic Reykaniese and a Norse Reykaniese has shrunk down. The barrier between them have been shrinking down ever since the Norse war. People were starting to think about Reykanes as a united nation. This effects were noticed in Literature and how the governmemt was fighting for unity. In 1914 a National Anthem was needed. In the early 1900s multiple Anthems were sent in to the government. Eventually in 1914 came the most anticipated from the famous writer Snorri Þórisson. Most were in favour of having it and it was made official in the same year.
