Reykani Defence (Reykjani: Reykjani defense), (Salisfordian: Difesa Reicania) is the unified armed forces of the Republic of Reykanes charged with the defence of Reykanes. The Defence also promote Reykanes's wider interests, support international peacekeeping efforts and provide humanitarian aid.
Today the Reykani Defence consists of Reykani Ground Forces,principal land warfare branch, Reykani Navy, a blue water navy, and the Reykani Air Force, an air force with an operational fleet consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.
Formed in 1949, as the People's army of Reykanes. The current name was adopted by the Reykani Defence Act 1957.
