The Northern Gjorka Senate is legislature for the Gjorkan District of Northern Gjorka. It is a unicameral body elected every 2 and a half years via ranked-choice voting. Due to the supremacy of federal law, the Senate has little power over their district mainly serving as a intermediary between the district and the National Assembly law-wise.
The plurality of seats in the senate has been controlled by the National Social Party (PSN) since 2016 along with the position of majority leader. Gjorka United and PSN had been caucusing together until 2022 when the two parties had a falling out over the 2022 Gjorka City summit.
