Chairman of the National Progressive Party

The leader of the National Progressive Party (NPP) of Terranihil is called chairman or chairwoman. The position was created in 1930 when Žep Virát founded the NPP and sat as itts first chairman. In 1938 when tthe NPP gained control over the Terranilian government, Chairman became synonymous with the position of President of the Republic. So far six men and one woman have held the position; Dreichren Ermák has been the current chairman since 2009.
