2022 Sequoyan presidential election
The 2022 Sequoyan general election was the first election held in Sequoyah following the December 2020 military invasion of Sequoyah by the Cooperation and Development Coalition (CODECO). It was held to restore order after the beginning of the Sequoyan Civil War . The election, which occurred on 27 February 2022, legally nullified the results of the October 2020 Sequoyan presidential election , which was only de facto nullified by interim President Diwali Wesa in December 2020.

Electoral process
In the lead up to the election, the CODECO-led government, the tribal militias, and other groups negotiated the future electoral and political system of the country. The negotiation, which took into account the ethnic and racial make up of the country, resulted as follows:
Sequoyah will be led by two presidents and a vice president.
One president will be a white Sequoyan, elected in an election where only white Sequoyans can vote and run.
One president will be a tribal Sequoyan, elected in an election where only tribal Sequoyans can vote and run.
The vice president will be a Creeperian, elected in an election where only Creeperans can vote and run.
Provincial representatives to the Congress will be elected in a single provincial-wide election for each province in a open list proportional representation election.
