The Third Republic of Uralis (Illyrian Iberic: Terçeo Repoleça de Urale) was the ruling government of Uralis and Tuscinum from 1848 to 1862. The nation was established during the collapse of the Second Republic of Illyricum, however it did not receive international recognition until 1851, when it was recognized by the Republic of Pensulia. The republic was led by President of Uralis Julio Reo and the Nationalist Party from 1848 to 1858 and during that time operated effectively as a one party state. However in the late 1850s the rising power of New Illyricum gained influence in the republic, eventually leading to the victory of Halmeo Paleo and the Communist Party in the tightly contested 1858 presidential election. During Paleo's presidency, he signed the Nyapthus Accords which limited Uralic autonomy and gave New Illyricum ultimate control over much of the nation. Fighting for the Communist League of Nations in the Second Călăneasan War from 1859 to 1860, Uralis took the brunt of the assault from the Kingdom of Pavulturilor and ultimately suffered huge casualties, with over a tenth of the population dying from starvation or disease during the war. Shortly following the end of the war, on April 13, 1862, New Illyricum and Grand Marshall of the Union Tito Moçeo annexed Uralis, incorporating its territory as SE Uralis and SE Tuscinum.
