Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) have relative freedom in New Illyricum. LGBT people faced significant discrimination and attacks throughout the twentieth century until Grand Marshall of the Union Juleo Faeo passed the Popular Rights Bill in 1997. In the bill, being LGBT was legalized, as was adopting, and same sex marriage. However due to the fact that no major anti-discrimination bill was passed, LGBT people still face some discrimination in the country, and all LGBT people are barred from entering the military.
