The Romanyan–Vaktrian Wars were a series of conflicts from 16 BC to 130 AD fought between the Romanyan Empire and the Kingdom of Vaktria. Romanyan troops first invaded in 16 BC under the command of Quintus Fonteius Nero and conquered much of southern Vaktria, including Dastivus, following their victory at the Battle of Maplas River. Fonteius Nero invaded again in 5 BC, solidifying Romanya's position in the region. In 11 AD, general Marius Cornelius Spurius led a third invasion, winning a major naval victory at Cape Charenasker. Cornelius Spurius led several other unsuccessful invasions before his grandnephew, Lucius Manlius Fursus, finally defeated Vatkrian King Havusmanor IV at the Battle of Felsafell, ending Vaktrian rule and establishing Romanyan Vaktria.
