East Cruises (Gjorkan: Cruises Thoir) is a Gjorkan-based cruise company that operates cruises between mainland Gjorka and Dontalamh. The Company was founded in 1975 by the Gjorkan-government to provide transportation to Dontalamh. It was expensive and difficult for average citizens to secure travel to Dontalamh by sea as any companies who traveled to Dontalamh catered to wealthy patrons. The cruise line was one of the companies used by President Rick Milhous to launder money as it's CEO at the time, Frank Harris, was a close friend of the President. In 1993 it was privatized by President Wilson Aldrich, with the Gjorkan government retaining 40% of the company. Following the companies success after being privatized, a further 10% of the Government's share was sold in 1997.
The company offers luxury cruises designed for tourists and fast cruises designed for those simply wishing to travel to the islands. The company services lines from Port Thior or Nua Ross to Éire, Gjorka City, Camden and Nomakoa.
